USE OF INFINITIVE WITH VERB ‘TO HAVE’
Also known as Present Forced Action which is used to express
Force, an obligation imposed by some external authority/circumstances or commitment. For e.g.:
I have to study hard to speak good English.
अच्छी अंग्रेजी बोलनेके ललए मुझेमेहनत करना है/करना परता है/करना होता है|
Action which is pre-planned & needs to be done. For e.g.: As per the schedule, he has to visit his client today.
हहंदी वाक्य के अंत मेंपड़ता है/होता हैआयेतो उन्हेंPresent Forced Action के formula सेबनातेहैं|
Formula:
(+) Subject + have/has + to + v1 + object.
(-) Subect + has/have + not + to + v1 + object.
Examples: मुझेजाना हैं|
मुझेजाना पड़ता हैं|
मुझेजाना होता हैं|
I have to go.
मुझेपत्र ललखना हैं| I have to write a letter.
आपको काम करना पड़ता हैं| You have to work.
राम को पटना जाना है| Ram has to go to Patna.
उन लोगो को देश की सेवा करनी हैं| They have to serve the country.
मुझेकाम नहींकरना हैं/मुझेकाम नहीं करना पड़ता हैं/मुझेकाम नहींकरना होता हैं|
I have not to work.
उसेनहीं खेलना हैं| He has not to play.
उन लोगो को वहांनहींठहरना पड़ता हैं| They have not to stay there.
मुझेकुछ नहीं करना हैं| I have not to do anything.

मुझे यह काम करना होगा| I shall have to do this work.
तुम्हे जुमाना ा नहीं देना पड़ेगा| You will not have to pay the fine.
हमे कहठन पररश्रम नहीं करना होगा| We shall not have to work hard.
